Welcome to The Lilac House. Home of Awedistra GSDs and dog training, and The Lilac House caravan club certificated location.We are the Gallimore family; Andrew and Deb, our sons Curtis, Wade and Cole and daughter Ruby. We share our home with Ebony, Elvis and Edie our three beautiful black German shepherd dogs, and Holly our cuddly rescue Rottie. There are also our three miniature Shetland ponies, Crystal, Dallas and Dakota, assorted piggies, chickens, and Scout and Snowbear our cats. Since moving to this beautiful part of the country in early 2005 we have worked hard to create a friendly welcoming, relaxed environment in which to raise our family. We do all the work here ourselves and take great pride in it. caring very much that people enjoy their stay and we do have had many return caravanners that love and appreciate the area as much as we do. As you might have guessed we are a family of animal lovers with a special interest in dog training, behaviour, and rehabilitation. Deb Gallimore runs, Pet handling courses, and one to one behaviour consultations among many other dog related services. A warm welcome is extended to everyone who comes to The Lilac House for dog training, caravanning or to buy our delicious free range rare breed pork products. Suffice it to say that your pets are as welcome as you to The Lilac House. We are not breed specific. all we ask is that you are responsible for them, respectful of our neighbours and the countryside code and keep them under control at all times. Awedistra GSDsAwedistra GSDs is a member of the Kennel Club's accredited breeder scheme, promoting responsible breeding. Awedistra GSD puppies are KC registered, microchipped, vaccinated and health checked. Reared in a family home among children, all puppies come with life time breeder backup. The Lilac House Caravan SiteThe Lilac House caravan site is a caravan club certificated location, situated in the beautiful Shropshire Hills, with breathtaking views and scenery all around you. The Stiperstones is a well known area for walkers. The devils chair and the long Mynd all a stones throw away, friendly locals and a great pub what more could you wish for? Pitch price1st April - 30th September £10.00 per night1st October - 31st March £12.50 per nightThe site is open all year round (subject to a weather check), well behaved pets and children are very welcome and we have no extra charges for anything. Local produce including our own free range eggs, home baking and rare breed pork is available to buy. A very secluded and peaceful site ideal for that weekend away (or longer) that you've been promising yourself. No club house, no shower blocks and no frills, simply the most relaxing break ever in the most beautiful part of the country. During bank holiday weekends we require a minimum of two nights booked and paid in advance, the rest of the time we don't have any restrictions except the regular Caravan Club CL regulations. Fit Fur Life Canine TreadmillsTraining and rehabilitation for dogsDesigned and manufactured specifically for canine use the fit fur life range of canine treadmills are the Rolls Royce of canine treadmills, not modified human treadmills.
Its very important to say here that a treadmill cannot and should not replace a healthy dog's walks. Dogs need the sensory input from smelling the air, the grass under their feet not to mention the socilisation of regular outdoor excersise. A treadmill is NOT a lazy persons dog walking machine. There are many areas of canine health and fitness where a treadmill can be of enormous benefit.
